Why a fanlisting for LEGO?

Ever since I was a kid I've loved these toys. My parents didn't have much money back then, but they somehow always managed to afford a box of LEGO every once in a while - for birthdays, for Christmas, and as small rewards when I'd been to the dentists and such. The pictures show two of my most valued sets from when I was a kid - rare ones at that, as I for the most part had sets of basic bricks. My parents still keep all my LEGO (one single brick missing from the tent of the knights set, though), and now my kids get to play with them when we visit! Neat, no? :)
Not that the kids miss having _my_ LEGO around; they have loads of bricks themselves! Lines of LEGO which has touched grounds at our house are - with their absolute favourites bolded: Duplo (basic bricks, Bob the Builder stuff, Duplo Zoo, Duplo Pirates, and Duplo Castle stuff - all of this since passed on to younger cousins), the first Dinosaurs series, the newer Dino 2010 series, the Orient Expedition series, the Viking series, a few of the sets from the 4+ Pirates series, several of the Creator sets, most generations of Bionicle, the underwater Alpha Team series, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Atlantis, Toy Story, Power Miners, Kingdoms, Space Police, Ninjago, Pharao's Quest... can you tell they love LEGO? (and are spoiled rotten, but that's another issue.. ;) )
